Varsal Opens New Chemical Plant at Tangshan Seaport Industrial Development Zone, Tangshan, China
October 30, 2018 - Varsal has opened a new chemical production facility at Tangshan Seaport Industrial Development Zone, Tangshan China (Hebei Province). In the new facility, most of the existing production equipment has been transferred from the old production site six kilometers away, ensuring previously available products remain available. Additionally, Varsal invested in significant automation and other equipment upgrades, resulting in a state of the art chemical production facility. Current production lines include Triflics/Triflic salts, MSC/MSA/Sn-MSA/Bi-MSA/Cu-MSA, NaH2PO2/HPA/NiPA, water-based anti-corrosive coatings/fire-resistant coatings, Catylists, electroplating additives, and pharmaceutical intermediates. The new facility includes all of the production lines, which have been transferred from the old facility, in addition to several new production lines which should help ensure continuity of supply for Varsal's customers.
